With the increasing costs taking a toll on households all over Brighton and the UK, what spare income the community has, is being prioritised on essentials. At Kindly, we believe that imagination and education is imperative to our thriving and creative community. We want to encourage everyone to learn and imagine without the worry of a price tag. Hence why we decided to home a community library where you can drop off a book, that you may not want to keep hold of anymore, and swap it for something new.
We are so excited to be announcing The Community Library at Kindly, stationed at our York Place shop. This is an opportunity for the community to swap books, free of charge! Convenient literature not only enhances literary skills, but also encourages critical thinking, creativity and broadens knowledge - which we believe should be accessible to everyone.

Reading is highly beneficial at any age, which is why we have started with a variety of books for all reading levels. We can guarantee that you will find something that you will enjoy and love. We encourage anyone with books that may be collecting dust to pop by and see what they can swap!
We have a lovely seating area that you are welcome to use to flick through a few pages of something you're interested in. We believe that the variety of material that the library has, will allow you to explore a huge range of genres and topics - from fiction, to action, to how to guides, to recipe books. Maybe it inspires you start something new. The possibilities are truly endless - so pop by and see what could inspire you next!
