Considered to be a ‘super grain’ black quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) grain has gained in popularity due to it being packed with delicious nutrients. Originating from South America, this tasty quinoa is similar to couscous but with a longer cooking time. It’s not really black. It’s more of a blend of black, tan, brown and white. You can expect a gorgeous nutty taste after you’ve cooked it and allowed it to go all fluffy. It’s perfect eaten by itself or mixed into salads.
